WW1 The Advance | T-Shirt
THEY CALLED IT AN ADVANCE.
The men in this photograph probably had a more honest description:
MOVE FORWARD THROUGH THE FIRE.
World War I turned the battlefield into an industrial meat grinder. Artillery buried men alive. Machine guns cut through formations. Barbed wire waited in the mud. And somewhere behind all of it, some officer with a map decided it was time to go over the top.
So the infantry went.
Rifle in hand. Bayonet fixed. Boots full of mud.
No body armor. No drone feed. No air-conditioned command center.
Just a bunch of young men being told, essentially:
“That hill over there? Yeah. Go take it.”
And they did.
Not because war was glorious.
Not because getting shot at was particularly good for morale.
And certainly not because the Army had discovered the revolutionary military technology known as “a better plan.”
They went because the man beside them was going.
That is what this shirt is about.
Not the politicians.
Not the generals.
Not the speeches.
The infantryman.
The man who climbed out of the trench.
The man who crossed the wire.
The man who kept moving while the world exploded around him.
Different war. Different uniform. Same miserable job.
Honor the men who went forward when every reasonable instinct told them to stay down.
Wear it for the ones who came home.
Wear it for the ones who didn't.
And wear it for every veteran who knows the oldest infantry joke of them all:
“The plan was good right up until somebody started shooting.”
REMEMBER THE MAN IN THE MUD.
HE'S THE ONE WHO PAID FOR THE PLAN.

Inspired out of Frustration
After years downrange in the GWOT. It was quickly realized that standard gun oils and greases weren't built for the demands of real combat. They often broke down in extreme heat, attracted dust, sand and debris, and required constant reapplication. Frustrated by products that couldn't keep up, a veteran decided to engineer his own solution. What started as a personal fix became Black Label Precision. A line of firearm lubricants designed by someone who understood exactly what a weapon system needed to perform when it mattered most. Built tough. Built right. Built by someone who's been there.
